Therapeutic Approach

Amy seeks to join with clients on their journey toward healing and wholeness. If you are experiencing hardship, grief, transitions, or the challenges of everyday life, Amy will provide a safe space to explore your needs and inner desires. She works to help clients develop full and meaningful lives through her accepting nature and therapeutic approaches that are based in mindfulness and self-compassion. Amy works with adults across the life span and children ten and under. She is especially adept at working with parents experiencing the overwhelm of having children with challenging needs. Amy also has a special interest in helping those who have experienced subtle religious harm or trauma and are reconstructing their spiritual life.

Amy’s journey through life’s inevitable difficulties sparked her interest in helping others. After over twenty years in a business career, she returned to graduate school to become a counselor and pursue work of deeper meaning. Amy also has received training and credentialing from The Haden Institute, which is a Jungian based program. Amy is an LGBTQIA+ affirming individual and therapist and welcomes all to share a safe space for growth and healing.
